Clinical Effect of "Sloding^(¢ç)" on Snoring

Abstract
|
|
|
In order to investigate the effects of an anti-snoring agent `Sloding¢ç¢¥ on snorers, clinical trial was done for the 30 cases of patients who visited the department of Otolaryngology, Koryo General Hospital from July 1989 to October 1989.
Sloding¢ç was instilled 5-6 drops into each nostril before sleeping for 1 week.
After 1 week treatment, the results of this study were as follows.
1. Eleven(36.6%) patients didn¢¥t snore after administration of `soding¢ç¢¥.
Eight(26.6%) patients were reduced markedly in the degree and frequency of occurrence
of snoring.
Five (16.6%) patients were reduced slightly in the degree and frequency of occurrence of snoring.
Six(20.0%) patients showed no response.
2. The overall rate of clinical effectiveness was 80 percents. 3. There was no side effect.
In conclusion, our results show that ¢¥Sloding¢ç¢¥ is effective and safe drug for the prevention of snoring.
